Lecture and Seminar Schedule

Lectures, seminars, and educational symposiums are held on Wednesdays in the amphitheater of the Iran Psychiatry Educational-Therapeutic Center, titled "Trauma Wednesdays." Also, through a virtual link, interested parties can participate online in sessions. The Wednesday schedule and the virtual link to join the session are announced via the "Trauma Psychiatry" telegram channel (https://t.me/traumapsychiatry), where audio files and slides used by the speakers are also published.

 

Trauma Clinic

This clinic is dedicated to clients who have experienced highly distressing events and have developed neurological and mental symptoms:

Events such as war, earthquakes, floods, fires, burns, explosions, accidents, assaults, torture, and conflicts.

Trauma Self-Care Group

The first session of the "Trauma Self-Care Group" was held on Wednesday, September 15, 2022. The purpose of forming this group is to identify and mitigate the effects of trauma on medical staff. This program, primarily implemented for the "Men's Ward 2 and Trauma," includes the following:

1- Promoting a culture of reporting psychological injuries among ward staff

2- Assigning a staff member (psychologist) as responsible for identifying and screening staff affected by psychological trauma

3- Recording identified/screened cases and referring them for follow-up

4- Referring cases in need of counseling or treatment to the trauma clinic

5- Organizing group self-care sessions
