Introduction

Today, it has been proven that biological, physical, psychological, and environmental factors all play a role in the formation of diseases. Psychosomatic diseases are those physical diseases that psychological factors are effective in their initiation, exacerbation, or continuation. Even years ago, the famous scientist of Iran, Razi, realized that body and mind cannot be separated and believed that mental forces are stronger than physical forces. Avicenna also believed that many diseases and physical disorders are caused by emotional discomforts and resentments. Psychosomatic services are also used for other diseases. For example, it is useful for patients who, in addition to physical problems such as blood pressure, cancer or digestive, heart, lung diseases, have behavioral disorders, sleep disorders, mood disorders, excitement and anxiety at the same time. Also, some drugs for physical diseases have psychological consequences, and in these cases, psychosomatic counseling is also effective. In addition, in the world, for special cases such as transplant candidate patients (as is also done in this center), such as lung, liver, kidney, heart, bone marrow transplant, psychiatric consultation is performed by a psychosomatic psychiatrist before the operation. .
